Todays ride went much better then my ride two weeks ago.  In the interim I've had a minor ride down the coast last weekend and a couple trips to the gym thanks to the reduction of frequency of my Orange County commute.  Unfortunately I won't be free of Orange County for at least several more months... but each week that I don't spend 4 or 5 days in that commute is a plus.

Today's ride was relatively flat as you can see by the elevation profile below.

We start with a climb and then get a long downhill to Bonsall.  From there it's a climb back up into San Marcos, so overall it's not a bad ride.  I basically kept up, did a little pulling but mainly rode middle-back on the pack.  I'm starting to get my lungs back but I still tire too quickly.  The total climb was only 2385.  I've also hit the 3950 mile mark so only 1900 more miles to go for my 2K for the year.
